Seattle

I flew up via Seaport airlines (amazing) to Seattle for the day, to help Mark on a photo shoot for Coal head wear.  Shortly after arriving we stopped in at the US sales office of Bench clothing and Pointer shoes to grab a few coats for the shoot. We were  graciously welcomed by Satoshi and the lovely Bailey to come grab at will.  I of course, not needing more then that to get busy, started sifting through the box's while the men folk picked up a piece here and there.  I am a little ashamed to say that at one point I recall Bailey offering me a trash bag!

The Pointer shoes are the most amazing little kicks... too bad my size 8 foot doesn't mesh with a sample size 6.

From the studio we went out to shoot in a very fall/ beginning winter chill. Thank god or should I say Brad for beanies!
Here were just a few of my favorite Coal Items.

I just wrote and pasted sooooooo many great things from Coal head wear, Bench clothing and Pointer shoes. All lost to a technical glitch. I am exhausted and now sad.
In the words of Annie (which I just watched with my daughter for the 3rd time this week) Tomorrow, Tomorrow.... There will be gorgeous clothing and shoes... Tomorrow, it's only a day away.
Good night.

Im dreaming of this fabulous cuff!  So if in fact my husband is reading this, Take Note!!
What girl wouldn't look amazing in this Romanesque beauty.  (Suddenly a whole slough of women come to mind) But that is besides the point. Throw this on with an old tee-shirt and jeans or a sexy LBD and call it good. Bona Drag has this posted as "in stock" we shall see for how long!

P.S.

Fun Fall/ Halloween activities.

This year we went to Kruger's Pumpkin patch on Sauvie Is. There were a million things for the kids to do, and equal as many for the adult kids too. We went with just a few of our favorite people, to enjoy the organic beer served out of mason jars, and let the kids run free through out the hail bail maze. For kids 2 to I would say about 6 this was a grand ol' time. We were able to just hang back and visit while keeping a visual on the kids. They have a 'Pick your own flower's' field
.
This photo (Man unknown) doesn't do the flower fields justice.
Their pumpkin patch was equally gorgeous but sadly I never made it that far... Got a little hung up on the yummy treats and
and a second round of their Organic honey wheat ale.

Alas didn't come home with a pumpkin but had a lovely time. We managed to tucker the kiddo out and we were able to take the pup Zuchon.

I believe that finding the "perfect gift" is an art.  Like painting or drawing, any one can can perfect their talent with a little practice and perseverance. There are of course certain tricks to the trade.  The best advise I EVER received was from my mother. Plainly stated: If you Love it, They will love it too!
Case in point, for the females in my life I can never go wrong with something from

A lazy day. Loving the fall in Portland.

Craving a Red Velvet cupcake from La Crema for the taste as much as the rich satisfying name.

Dream fall outfit of the moment.
Cashmere sweater dress from Acne.

Ahhh think of the cozy happiness this would bring.
